I’ve loved history all my life. Lately, I spend a lot of my time working on genealogy projects. This site shares information about my own family tree, and several other trees I’ve been working on. Part of the fun of doing genealogy is collecting great stories, which I’m sharing on my blog.

Stouts
My Stout paternal line has roots back to early English colonization in New Amsterdam in the 1640s, and Jamestown starting in 1619. My maternal line has early French Canadian ancestors, but is mostly Irish.
Arnolds
Geoff Arnold, my partner, has deep English roots, early American Quaker immigrants to Pennsylvania, and a lot of surprising stories.
